Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow...

Wondering about the uncanny silence about Nate's blog recently? Well, lets just say that its been a little crazy lately... We aren't ever exactly bored here at IBEX. Believe it or not I just had a mid-term for one of my classes yesterday, which definitely baked my cookies to say the least (in other words, it was a tad bit difficult). However, the good news is that craziness week is drawing to a close, I'm looking forward to a nice time of bonding in the sauna with the guys and a restful Shabbat (Sabbath). (Here in Israel for cultural reasons we worship on the Jewish Sabbath, which begins Friday night and ends Saturday night at sun-down.) It is good to rest in Him. I'm looking forward to a mini-camping/caving trip tomorrow night with some of my fellow students to further explore some man-made caves which we were only able to explore in a cursory manner on our field trip Wednesday. Pictures are forthcoming. Also, in about a week, I will be meeting my wonderful parents and oldest brother who are visiting through the IBEX "Friends and Family" trip. I love you guys, look forward to seeing you soon! For your entertainment, the following picture is of me and my roommate in a rather small door to the entrance of the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. Shabbat Shalom! (Have a peaceful Sabbath, or "peace out on the Sabbath", whichever you would prefer.)
